Do you serve mimosas and bloody Mary's??
Not a fan! My food was cold when it got to my table! My fish did not taste fresh to me. It tasted like it had been frozen before cooked. I don't expect frozen fish when I am at a restaurant near the ocean!
MoreAwesome establishment that's been there forever and really awesome Southern style food staff is friendly
MoreGreat breakfast spot in Pass-A-Grill. My family will make drive down for breakfast when we are staying in the St. Pete Beach area and love the atmosphere, service, and food. Great place to start any relaxing day in the St. Pete area.
MoreI had my first visit today on the recommendation of local friends while I was in town. This restaurant was exactly what I was looking for: authentic great food in a comfortable relaxing atmosphere. My breakfast was excellent (I’d never had “Cuban toast” before). The grits are excellent also! The restaurant staff were excellent, quick and friendly. Being originally from Florida, this was a nice treat!
MoreGreat place, wonderful atmosphere overlooking the water, food was terrific, and a very quaint, island feeling. The food was reasonably priced and very good. Highly recommended giving it a try.
MoreSo we never made it past the incredibly rude hostess. I understand things going on work Corona are stressful right now but she clearly was taking her anger out on us as soon as we walked in. Needless to say we chose to leave at that point.
MoreGreat food as always which is why we always come back. The ppl are very nice and always check on you after you receive your food. This place is very unique and you feel like you go back in time. Thanks for always being the place we go to when we are in town.
MoreThe Seahorse Restaurant is an icon with history and roots going back to 1938 in Pass-A-Grille, Florida offering American breakfast favorites and a seafood lunch menu. Located across the street from the Merry Pier, my wife and I passed by this restaurant for years before finally stopping in for a breakfast. For entrees, we had the Cuban toast with guacamole and the hangover helper dish, a good play on words for two over-medium fried eggs on a bed of sausage gravy. You can read the full review on the Wine Dine and Play website blog along with other breakfast spots.
MoreBreakfast here never disappoints.
Excellent food and service, situated across street from my favorite fishing dock. Staff especially (kitchen very accommodating).
MoreGreat breakfast! Little bit of a wait at 10 on Saturday but well worth it. Tasty omelets and delicious sausage gravy.
MoreBest place for breakfast while in St. Pete Beach. Great food, sit outside and watch the boats come down the Boca Ciega towards the open Gulf.
MoreThis place was absolutely delicious. We were told the wait would be about twenty minutes, and they were right in the money. Also, I really appreciated that they asked if we were ok inside/outside and if the seats were overly sunny, they asked before seating you there. Very considerate. Will definitely be returning.
MoreCute spot overlooking the bay. I had guacamole toast with bacon bits on Cuban bread. It was delicious. Service was prompt and everything was reasonably priced. I would go back if I was in the area om any regular basis.
MoreThe whole meal was great. Especially the cheese grits. I wouldn't give this place a 5 but our omelette was One Touch away from being cold. Nobody really likes cold eggs. There is a great view you can watch the boats pass by in the water.
MoreWe have eaten at the Seahorse on numerous occasions but will not be back. We are training a dog for certification to work with the blind or Veterans of America and were not permitted to take her into the restaurant because she was in training and not yet fully certified. It is a disgrace that the Seahorse would not allow a dog in training to enter the restaurant, since is an important part of the process of getting her prepared for certification. We have traveled up and down the east coast with her. This is the first time we were ever told she was not allowed into a restaurant. We will pass this story around to all who will listen. Berverly’s down the road welcomed us with open arms and.commended the work we are providing.
MoreEXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCE AT THE SEAHORSE! Greeted by two smiling young ladies! The staff were so friendly and welcoming! Will definitely be back. I also appreciated how well they were cleaning the tables!
MoreWe went here for breakfast one morning before we hit the beach, and it was a really cool local place. The inside has a great charm and the menu is full of options for everyone. The only reason i'm not giving it 5 stars, is because there was a little too much butter on the shrimp and grits and toast. But I highly recommend going here. The location and staff are both incredible!
MoreWonderful breakfast and lunch place. Gets busy on weekends, but the staff does a great job!! Food always comes out piping hot!
MoreYou walk in and feel the nostalgia of a long time local place to eat. I had the Cuban sandwich and delicious crab cakes! House made tartar sauce for sure! If you find yourself on passagrille beach, come here to eat breakfast served all day and a lunch menu as well. No shoes. No shirt. No problem
MoreAfter years and years of hearing about this place, we finally went in and tried their breakfast. The menu is rather small (no French Toast, no Eggs Benedict, no Crepes) but the classics are there (Omelettes, Eggs, Pancakes). The seating is nice and nostalgic, the view was nice and sitting by an open window was a plus. The serving size was ample and breakfast was good. The clientele was an older crowd and we saw several retired first responders. The road leading to Pass-a-Grille is still under construction, but once there, it was worth it.
MoreGood breakfast at a historic restaurant. Only open for breakfast and lunch.
Best clam chowder ever. great french toast. Nice sitting outside on the deck. Great service by Sophie.
MoreGreat food and atmosphere, but the coffee needs an upgrade.
The mimosas and breakfast options are so good! I absolutely love the atmosphere. Everytime I come to visit it is a must to eat here! Will always come back.
MoreAmazing food, great service, and very reasonable price. Had a delicious feast for under $50.
MoreBeen coming here on occasions for 8 years. Maybe it's just me, but last few times, everything just taste bland and it comes out so fast!! Place is always packed. How can they get our food out in minutes and say it's freshly cooked... 🤔Prices are a bit high for the small portions they serve. Service is always good and with smiles.
MoreI can’t think of enough good ways to describe this place. From the atmosphere, to the staff, and the food. Everything was absolutely amazing. We showed up right at 12:00 during the weekday and they still let us order the breakfast ❤️ and everything was delicious, I got the pancakes, bacon, and biscuits and the really big mimosa. Loved it all. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for some good food.
MoreGreat atmosphere, staff, location and food. Owned by a family of firefighters... so they care about their community.. all around great spot
MoreGreatest breakfast spot around - corned beef hash, cinnamon toast, great grits, wonderful Mexican omelette, etc . A block from the beach. Eat, walk, enjoy the beach. The best - great start to a beautiful day.
MoreRelaxing spot here in the Pass-a-grill area. Food was hot and good. The server was helpful , informative and willing to make solid suggestions. Thank you....
MoreNice little breakfast joint tucked away in Pass-a-grill beach. Nothing flashy or fancy. No ones out here holding their pinky up. They are however holding up glasses of mimosas that are great, bloody Mary’s aren’t too shabby either. My favorite might be the shrimp Jalepeno grits with an over easy egg on top!
MoreQuaint, cozy, annd Tasty! Crowded because the secret is out! Tasty with good service.
MoreI really liked this place. It felt it had a warm vibe.
Great local spot for affordable food.
Excellent local dining at Pass A Grille. Clean setting, delicious food and interesting decorations. I had the Cuban Combo (Half sandwich, beans and rice) and Key Lime Pie for dessert. The Cajun Shrimp and Grits that my companion had was also tasty. There are flowers and a view of the Intercoastal Waterway. The beach is a few blocks walk nearby.
MoreThe servers are so sweet and friendly, the food is cozy and homemade, and the interior is clean, incredible, and supper cozy. I love and miss this place so much
MoreThis restaurant is a go-to every time I vacation in St Pete/Pass-a-grille with family. We have been coming for years and they never disappoint! Everything cooked to order the way you want it.
MoreI'm 60yrs old and been going there since I was 12yrs old...Great place Great food and staff👍
MoreEverything was very nice. The service, the view, the food, the prices, all fantastic. I'm definitely coming here again
MoreCozy, historic, local fare in PassAGrill!Gorgeous 😍😍😍 spot by the Bay. Shrimp and cheese grits were delicious and plenty! Huge Mimosas!!! Be back Soon!!!
MoreWhat a nice place. Excellent food. Pleasant service. Very happy here.
We got a late start, but thankfully, they serve breakfast all day, and I was able to get my cheesy grits and grilled shrimp! Tami got bacon and a pancake, just what she wanted. Great food, great service, great day!
MoreFood, done right. Frankly, they have it all. Ambience, great food, nice people, live music. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. We like it because it's not touristy, and the food tastes like it's home cooked, unpretentious like how your mom or grandma would make it. Check it out!
MoreGreat little breakfast spot right by the shore. It's usually busy so come prepared for a wait but rest assured it's worth it. I highly recommend the shrimp and grits as well as the guacamole toast. Great stuff!
MoreA small quaint place facing the Pass-a-Grille channel parking is limited but there is plenty of pay to park spots nearby they have outdoor seating and the food is a good price breakfast is served till noon on weekdays and one PM on weekends and holidays closed Tuesday's
MoreAwesome staff, cozy atmosphere, great food! Do not pass this place up if there is a line it goes quick!
MoreWe walked in from a downpour and Denise took 8 us in right away and put us in a warm dry place. She gave the 2 little kids dry t-shirts so they would be warm! She really took care of us! Our waiter Zack was great as well! He definitely made the kids happy with 2 "small" hot chocolates with whip cream. We had everything from breakfast to hotdogs to fish and it was all amazing!! We will definitely be back next time we come to St. Pete!
MoreGood food. Nice view by the window.
A little piece of home right on the water. The staff greets you from the moment you walk in with a smile that lets you know that you are about to be treated like family. The food is fantastic amd the service matches. It was our first time dining here and it will not be our last!
